Leonard Gilbert
Leonard Gilbert is a Partner at Holland & Knight, LLP. As a member of the firm's Financial Services Practice Group, Mr. Gilbert practices in the areas of banking, commercial finance, creditors' rights and commercial litigation. A former president of The Florida Bar he has been active in various organizations including the American Bar, the International Bar where he serves as Co-Chair of the Section on Insolvency, International Insolvency Institute, officer and director and past president of the American College of Commercial Finance Lawyers as well as regent and director of the American College of Bankruptcy.
Mr. Gilbert has spoken widely on legal topics pertaining to his practice in the United State, Europe, South America and Asia. He is professionally recognized in Who's Who in America, Who's Who Legal, Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers and Chambers USA. Active in his community, he has been a member of the Board of Trustees of the University of Tampa, Chairman of the Arts Council and Tampa Museum of Art. He is admitted to practice in Florida and all levels of the federal court system.
