A major theme of The ABF Seminar this year is: Our Arcs of Scholarship: Directions, Inspirations, and Dead Ends. We all know each other’s projects and publications. The more intriguing story is surely the elusive big picture. In these special seminars, our speakers will take us through the "arc" of their scholarship - how they began; new opportunities, directions and dead ends; how the pieces fit together (or don't); why they asked certain questions and not others; what puzzles have hounded them; and so on. We are confident that such self-reflection will be illuminating for all of us.
All Research Seminars begin at 12:00 p.m. in the ABF Woods Conference Room, located at 750 N. Lake Shore Drive, 4th Floor-Lakeside, Chicago IL. Lunch will be provided.
