Washington Fellows of the American Bar Foundation, current Washington Fellows Nominees, and leaders of Washington Women Lawyers (WWL) are cordially invited to attend the Fourth Annual Washington Fellows Dinner.

The evening will feature a conversation with the Hon. Betty Binns Fletcher of the Ninth Circuit. Judge Fletcher is a true Washington treasure: a Tacoma native who never thought a woman could not be a lawyer, she had the distinction of being the first woman partner at the Preston firm, the first woman president of the King County Bar and founding member of Washington Women Lawyers (WWL). Judge Fletcher is a recipient of the ABA’s Margaret Brent Award and for her entire legal career has demonstrated a tireless commitment to professional development and mentorship. Moreover, as a member of the Ninth Circuit, her keen insight and sharp analysis is appreciated and has been critical in deciding many key cases.
