Julie I. Fershtman, Shareholder with Foster Swift Collins & Smith, PC and Michigan Life Fellow, has authored the book "Equine Law and Horse Sense", which was recently published by the American Bar Association. The book is designed for people, businesses, and organizations in the horse industry and for the lawyers who serve them. It gives a general understanding of equine law, as well as answers various questions involving horse-related injuries, lawsuits, contracts, and increasing urbanization.
