New Jersey Fellow Peggy Sheahan Knee

Peggy Sheahan Knee has been reappointed trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, an organization that promotes law-related education and strives to give New Jersey residents a basic understanding of the legal system. In May, she also took the oath of office as the 110th president of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), making her the sixth woman in the history of the association to hold that office. As president, she is responsible for heading the NJSBA's Board of Trustees, serving as the official spokesperson and meeting with officials from state government and county bar associations. Knee is certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as an elder law attorney and is the first president who practices in that area.
