Tennessee Life Fellow D. Bruce Shine

KINGSPORT, TN - D. Bruce Shine of the law firm of Shine & Mason has been named for the fifth straight year to TN Business magazine's annual list of the "150 Best Lawyers in Tennessee."

Tennessee has more than 18,000 active attorneys. Shine is one of only three lawyers practicing north of Knoxville named to the list, and the only Kingsport lawyer on the list. The list is created by a survey among lawyers, judges and business persons and is subdivided into 31 practice areas. Shine is one of eight "labor/employment" specialists on the list.

A Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, Shine has practiced in Kingsport since 1967. He is a graduate of Tusculum College and Vanderbilt University School of Law. He attended Columbia University School of Graduate Legal Studies and holds a master of law degree from the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom.
