California Life Fellow Douglas R. Young

California Life Fellow Douglas R. Young was recently inducted as a Fellow into the International Academy of Trial Lawyers at the Academy's Annual Meeting in Atlanta, GA.
Mr. Young is a nationally recognized attorney whose practice with Farella Braun + Martel LLP involves trials and appeals in federal and state courts throughout the U.S. His practice encompasses white collar defense and parallel civil and regulatory proceedings, intellectual property, securities and antitrust (including significant class action work), unfair competition, and the First Amendment.
Mr. Young has earned Fellowships in the American College of Trial Lawyers and American Academy of Appellate Lawyers. A Master of the McFetridge American Inn of Court, he is also a member of the American Law Institute and the American Judicature Society. He has served as president of the Bar Association of San Francisco and of the Northern California Chapter of the Association of Business Trial Lawyers.
