Stephanie L. Carman, Florida Fellow and Counsel at Hogan Lovelles US LLP, Sworn in as President of Dade County Bar Association

Stephanie L. Carman, Florida Fellow and Counsel at Hogan Lovelles US LLP, was recently sworn in as President of the Dade County Bar Association (DCBA).  The DCBA is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in the country and has served  the Miami Dade community for over 100 years.  “I am excited and humbled by this wonderful opportunity and privileged to be a part of it. I want to create a dialogue that encourages attorneys to engage with each other, the community, and the judiciary. It’s a broad approach that goes way beyond mere communication. We’re making sure we connect with and help each other make a difference.” said Ms. Carman.

Since 2001, Ms. Carman has worked in the Miami office of Hogan Lovells.  She regularly represents Life Sciences and Health Care Industry clients in complex litigation, on internal or government investigations, and on regulatory issues.  In addition to her Presidency, Ms. Carman is a member of the Executive Committee of Legal Services of Greater Miami, Inc.'s Board of Directors, and board member of South Florida Community Board of American Diabetes Association. She also serves her alma maters: she is on the Tufts University Alumni Council; and, she is on the University of Miami School of Law’s Alumni Board.
