Honorable Peter M. Reyes, Minnesota Fellow and Judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals, Receives Award from Hispanic National Bar Association

Honorable Peter M. Reyes, Minnesota Fellow and Judge on the Minnesota Court of Appeals, has recieved the "Latino Judge of the Year" Award from the Hispanic National Bar Association. 

Prior to his appointment, he was a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, a Senior IP Lawyer at Cargill, Incorporated, an associate at Robins Kaplan, and a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Salvador M. Rosas. Judge Reyes served as national president of the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) in 2012-2013 and as president of the Minnesota Hispanic Bar Association in 2000-2003. He is active in the American Bar Association (ABA), including as the HNBA delegate to the ABA House of Delegates. In 2012 and 2013, Poder Magazine named him as one of the 100 Most Influential Hispanics in America. Judge Reyes is the recipient of the 2016 Ohtli Award from the Mexican government. Judge Reyes received his J.D. from William Mitchell and his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of St. Thomas.
