Mark D. Agrast, D.C. Life Fellow, to Receive Stonewall Award

Mark D. Agrast, D.C. Life Fellow and House of Delegates member, will receive the ABA Stonewall Award at the ABA Midyear Meeting in January 2019. The award will be presented by the Commission on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity. 

Mr. Agrast is the executive director and executive vice president of the American Society of International Law. Before joining the Society, he served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Office of Legislative Affairs at the U.S. Department of Justice, where he had responsibility for legislative initiatives and oversight in the areas of national security, immigration, and criminal justice. He is also the leader of the World Justice Project.
