Jimmy Goodman, ABF Board Member and Leadership Fellow, Highlights Pro Bono Work Outside Court room

February 26, 2019, Fellows in the news

Jimmy Goodman, ABF Board Member and Leadership Fellow, recently executed a pro bono project with three associates from his firm, Crowe & Dunlevy. Goodman is assisting an Oklahoma veteran under the Oklahoma Bar Association’s veteran assistance project, Oklahoma Lawyers for America’s Heroes Program. Besides working in court for a resolution for his client, Goodman and three associates went to the client’s house to help dig up a storm sewer junction box on his property that had been covered with soil. “I’m sure this is representative of the variety of non-lawyer services that all Oklahoma attorneys wind up providing during the course of their work for veterans—albeit a unique one. You’ll find more info about the program at www.okbarheroes.org, and please find your own way to go digging for good,” Goodman said. Read more here.
