Hon. Lawrence Winthrop, Arizona Fellow, Receives 2019 Walter E. Craig Distinguished Services Award

Hon. Lawrence Winthrop, Arizona Fellow and Arizona Court of Appeals Judge, has received the 2019 Walter E. Craig Distinguished Services Award from the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education. This award is given to an attorney who has manifested adherence to the highest principles and tradition of the legal profession and service to the public in the community in which he/she lives. Judge Winthrop is the current chair of the Arizona Supreme Court's Access to Justice Commission. He is past president of the Arizona Assication of Defence Counsel, Vice-Chair of the Arizona Commission on Judicial Conduct, past chair of the Attorney Regulation Advisory Committee and is currently chair of the Attorney Discipline and Probable Cause Committee. In 2012, Judge Winthrop was named Judge of the Year by the Arizona Supreme Court. He has also received the James A. Walsh Outstanding Jurist Award from the State Bar of Arizona.
