John R. Wester, North Carolina Life Fellow, to Chair National Committee on Judicial Independence

John Wester, North Carolina Life Fellow and litigator at Robinson Bradshaw, has been selected by the American College of Trial Lawyers to serve as the inaugural chair of its General Committee for Judicial Independence. The committee includes three federal judges and will lead the College's efforts in defending the judiciary from attacks and promoting its independence. The American College of Trial Lawyers is an invitation-only fellowship of exceptional trial lawyers. In addition to his involvement, John Wester is a former president of the North Carolina Bar Association.
