Oklahoma Fellow Renee DeMoss

Tulsa attorney Renee DeMoss is set to serve as the 2014 President for the Oklahoma Bar Association.
Ms. DeMoss is a shareholder at the Tulsa law firm GableGotwals, where she has specializes in ERISA law, commercial litigation and general business law.
As 2014 President of the OBA, Ms. DeMoss will lead the Board of Governors for the bar association.
Ms. DeMoss is a past president of the Oklahoma Bar Foundation, the Tulsa County Bar Association and Tulsa County Bar Foundation.
She has won numerous awards, including the American Bar Association's Outstanding Law Day award in 1999, was recognized by the Journal Record in the 2010 Women of the Year Award, and is listed in the Journal Record's 2011 Leadership in Law group.
Ms. DeMoss graduated summa cum laude from Oklahoma City University.
She received her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with honors, in 1984.
Ms. DeMoss will take office on January 1, 2014.
Oklahoma Bar Association leadership roles are all voluntary positions in which lawyers serve while continuing to practice law.
