NLR Scholarship

March 27, 2017 New Legal Realism

New legal realist scholarship brings social science and legal research together in a new synthesis. This scholarship has appeared in special issues of journals (both peer-reviewed and law student-edited), individual published articles, and working papers available on the NLR website. NLR scholarship has focused on, among other topics, methodology, the relationship between empirical research and legal theory, legal approaches to poverty and land ownership, and the legal treatment of gender-related issues in employment.

Three edited volumes of NLR scholarship are forthcoming in 2015.
