Please join us to celebrate the publication of The Sit-Ins: Protest & Legal Change in the Civil Rights Era, a new book by ABF Researcher Christopher W. Schmidt. The Sit-Ins tells the story of the student lunch counter protests of the sixties and the national debate they sparked over the meaning of the constitutional right of all Americans to equal protection of the law.

Refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
