Norman M. Powell, Delaware Sustaining Life Fellow, Selected to Join TriBar Opinion Committee

Delaware Sustaining Life Fellow and Young Conaway partner Norman Powell has been invited to become a member of the TriBar Opinion Committee. TriBar, which is made up of members from regional bar associations around the country, produces influential reports on third-party legal opinions.

At Young Conaway, Mr. Powell chairs the Legal Opinions Committee and specializes in secured transactions and alternative entities. A former adjunct professor at the Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law, Mr. Powell shares his knowledge with current and future legal practitioners by presenting to professional organizations and appearing in publications like The Business Lawyer, who ran his recent article, “Delaware Harmonizes Alternative Entity Series and UCC Article 9.” Mr. Powell is an elected member of the American Law Institute, an Advisory Board Member for the Working Group on Legal Opinions Foundation, a member of the Permanent Editorial Board for Uniform Commercial Code, and the Content Officer for the ABA Business Law Section.
