Montgomery Summer Research Diversity Fellowship 30th Anniversary Celebration
The American Bar Foundation (ABF) is among the world’s leading research institutes for the empirical and interdisciplinary study of law. Since our founding more than 60 years ago, we have led the way on research and programming that helps us understand and break down the barriers that women, people of color, people with disabilities, and persons from the LGBTQ community find in practice and before the law. This year our signature diversity program, the Montgomery Summer Research Diversity Fellowship (SRDF) celebrates its 30th anniversary. Our board of directors, faculty, and staff invite you to join us in a special celebration dinner in support of this remarkable program.

- We will present the inaugural Montgomery Summer Diversity Fellowship Distinguished Alumnus Award to Danielle Holley-Walker (SRDF 1995), Dean, Howard University School of Law.

- Our keynote speaker for the evening is Tina Tchen, former Assistant to President Barack Obama, Executive Director of the White House Council on Women and Girls, Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama, and partner in the Chicago office of Buckley Sandler LLP.
Since 1988, the ABF has guided 122 talented undergraduates through this intensive, hands-on, career- defining research experience. Through this program, the ABF has had a direct and quantifiable effect on the diversity of the legal profession, and in increasing diversity among professionals in the legal, business, and policymaking fields.
We hope you, too, are excited by the success of the Montgomery Summer Research Diversity Program. Please help us ensure the next thirty years of this remarkable program—and help a new generation transform the profession that transforms the world.
Below describes all the ways you can be a part of our celebration in October with sponsorship and recognition opportunities. We hope you will be a part of this special evening. Click here to purchase your ticket(s).
