The American Bar Foundation (ABF) and the JPB Foundation invite emerging scholars interested in studying access to civil justice to join the ABF’s intellectual community for the ABF/JPB Foundation Access to Justice Scholars Program. The program expands empirical access to civil justice scholarship by encouraging scholars to engage with this bourgeoning research field. The program brings together two cohorts of Faculty Scholars serving overlapping 18-month terms and one one-year Postdoctoral Fellow serving a 12-month term to support their research, mentor their progress, and build the intellectual relationships needed to grow the access to justice field. While in residence, the Postdoctoral Fellow will have the opportunity to conduct their own research in an empirical and interdisciplinary research environment, and benefit from the academic and administrative resources of the ABF.
