Attorney General Ellen F. Rosenblum, Benefactor Fellow, Elected as President of National Association of Attorneys General

Oregon Attorney General Ellen F. Rosenblum, Benefactor Fellow, has been elected serve as president of the National Association of Attorneys General. Attorney General Rosenblum was elected at the NAAG (pronounced N-A-A-G) Annual Meeting in late 2023.

Part of being president of NAAG entails selecting an issue to champion and at the Group’s Capital Forum AG Rosenblum announced her Presidential Initiative as “America’s Youth: AGs Looking out for the Next Generation.” The initiative seeks to improve the overall safety and well-being of America’s youth and identifies key areas to address during the year ahead: technology; healthy bodies & healthy minds; and consumer protection for youth. 

She began her career as an associate and partner in private practice in Eugene, Oregon. After that, AG Rosenblum served as Assistant United States Attorney for the District of Oregon and then as a judge at both the trial and appellate levels of Oregon’s state courts.  In 2012 Rosenblum became the first woman elected as Attorney General in Oregon. She has been re-elected in 2016 and 2020.
