Darin Scheer, Life Fellow, Elected Chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Conference of Bar Examiners

Darin Scheer, Life Fellow, was recently elected as chair of the Board of Trustees of the National Conference of Bar Examiners. Scheer has served on the NCBE’s Board of Trustees since 2017 and during that time has led or been a member of several NCBE committees, including the Multistate Essay Examination/Multistate Performance Test Committee, the Special Committee on the Uniform Bar Examination, and the Multistate Bar Exam Committee.

The National Conference of Bar Examiners is headquartered in Madison and is best known for developing bar exam content used by 54 US jurisdictions. The NCBE is planning to launch the next generation of the bar exam in 2026.

Scheer is currently Senior Counsel at Crowley Fleck PLLP, a regional law firm with offices throughout Montana, Wyoming, and North Dakota. He has served on the Wyoming Board of Law Examiners since 2014, serving as Chair from 2017 to 2018 and served multiple terms as the Wyoming State Bar Delegate to the ABA House of Delegates.
