December 08, 2023

The award is presented annually by the PBA’s Business Law Section and honors the contributions to the practice of business law at the highest level, either through the practice of law or through teaching. The award also says that recipients must have contributed to the statutory development of business law in Pennsylvania and to the PBA by working in leadership roles in the Business Law Section. Brossman currently chairs the section’s Bankruptcy Committee, was a past chair of the section, and is a member of many more committees and task forces.

He is currently a partner at Bybel Rutledge LLP, where his practice is concentrated in business reorganization and counseling, commercial finance, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and Uniform Commercial Code Article 8 and 9 secured transactions. He currently serves as a trustee of the Central Pennsylvania Educational Institution, secretary and board member of the Cultural Enrichment Fund, and as a member of the board of managers of the East Shore YMCA.
