Kandis C. Gibson, District of Columbia Fellow, Inducted as President of the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia

Kandis C. Gibson, District of Columbia Fellow, was inducted as President of the WBA of DC on May 25th. The theme for her tenure as president is “Leading Forward” which will focus on women in leadership and will be the focus of association programming.

A longtime member of the WBA, Ms. Gibson has previously served as the association’s secretary and most recently as the 2022-2023 president-elect. She is currently an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius in their DC office, where her practice focuses on Section 337 proceedings at the US International Trade Commission.

Beyond Ms. Gibson’s practice, she is an active member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Diversity in IP Committee, where she co-chairs the Special Programming Subcommittee. Additionally, she is board chair of Washington DC’s I Dream Public Charter School and a Cornell Alumni Admissions Ambassador Network volunteer.
