Kenneth A. Manning, New York Fellow and partner at Phillips Lytle LLP, was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Buffalo and Erie Public Bridge Authority (“the Authority”). The Authority is an international entity created pursuant to a compact entered into by the State of New York, with the consent of the United States Congress, and by the Government of Canada. The mission of the Authority is to be known as the premier Canada-United States international border crossing.
Mr. Manning is also scheduled to receive the National Federation of Just Communities of Western New York, Inc. Citation Award. This award gives public recognition and honor to individuals who have contributed to the advancement of the organization’s objectives. An individual is awarded this citation based on their standing in the community, profession or industry, and their devotion to the spirit of human relations.
