Laura V. Farber, National Fellows Chair and Patron Fellow, was recently honored with the Latina Lawyers Bar Association’s Mary V. Orozco Abriendo Caminos Award. She was presented with the award at the LLBA’s Annual Awards and Scholarship Dinner on October 27th.

The Mary V. Orozco Abriendo Caminos Award is named after Mary V. Orozco, who was the first Latina admitted to the California State Bar in 1962. Each year, the LLBA presents the Mary V. Orozco Abriendo Caminos Award to a Latina who characterizes the spirit, tenacity, and vision of Ms. Orozco.

Farber is currently a partner at Hahn & Hahn LLP, with her practice primarily in the areas of employment and commercial litigation, and personal injury. She is very involved in the legal field, having become the Fellows Chair on September 1st and also serves the ABA as a California Delegate and as Chair of the Rules and Calendar Committee of the House of Delegates. She previously served as the Tournament of Roses® President, and is the current Chair of the Rose Bowl Management Committee.
