Margaret Cooper Roney, Life Fellow, was elected to the Memphis Bar Association’s Board of Directors. The MBA is a professional organization for attorneys in Memphis and the surrounding Midsouth area which provides a place for lawyers to grow, connect and serve.
The MBA was established in 1874 and hosts networking events and accredited online and in-person CLE events, for all lawyers. Members of the MBA also provide free legal aid to those in need, such as through the Veterans’ Legal Clinic and the Legal Lines call-in television program.
Roney is a shareholder at Lewis Thomason, out of their Memphis office. Her litigation practice focuses on defending clients in healthcare liability, transportation, product liability, and personal injury litigation. She is also currently the Secretary of the firm’s Board of Directors.
