Melody McAnally, Life Fellow, Named Chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee of the American Bar Association

Melody McAnally, Life Fellow, was named the as the Chair of the Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Committee of the American Bar Association for 2024-2025. She has previously served as the Chair-Elect and Vice Chair and will lead the 200+ member committee focusing on cybersecurity, data privacy and AI issues, with a focus on cyber insurance.

The Cybersecurity & Data Privacy Committee’s primary mission is to communicate information to the ABA TIPS members to facilitate education and increase awareness of cybersecurity, data privacy and AI-related issues that clients may encounter.

McAnally is currently the Team Leader of the Data Security and Privacy team at Butler Snow, out of their Memphis office. Beyond being a Life Fellow of the ABF, she is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary Foundation International and a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation. The Mississippi Bar Association has also recognized McAnally as a recipient of the Curtis E. Coker Access to Justice Award and the Jackson Young Lawyers’ Pro Bono Award.
