Professor Paul A. Lombardo, Life Fellow, was named to the Greenwall Foundation’s Faculty Scholars Program Committee. The committee is responsible for evaluating applications for the Greenwall Faculty Scholars Program in Bioethics.
In addition to evaluating the applicants for the program, members of the committee attend twice-yearly meetings, where they give feedback and provide mentoring to the Scholars. Each year, the committee selects approximately three scholars to receive 50 percent salary support for three years to enable them to carry out a specific research proposal and develop their research program.
Professor Lombardo holds the titles of Emeritus Regents’ Professor and Emeritus Bobby Lee Cook Professor of Law from Georgia State University, after joining the faculty in 2006. As a member of the Center for Law, Health & Society, he teaches courses in Genetics and the Law, the History of Bioethics, Mental Health Law and the History of Public Health Law.
