Professor Stephen Yale-Loehr, Life Fellow, Presented with American Immigration Lawyers Association Award

Professor Stephen Yale-Loehr, Life Fellow, was presented with the American Immigration Lawyers Association’s Robert Juceam Founders Award. The award is given from time to time to honor the person or entity having the most substantial impact on the field of immigration law or policy.

The award is named for Patron Fellow Robert Juceam, who is of counsel with Fried Frank, after he won the award in 2021. He previously served as the Director of the Appleseed Foundation and was the co-founder and former president of the American Immigration Council, among other immigration related positions.

Yale-Loehr is currently of counsel at Miller Mayer in Ithaca, New York and teaches immigration and asylum law at Cornell Law School. He is a founding member of the Alliance of Business Immigration Lawyers and has won the AILA’s Elmer Fried Award for excellence in teaching and the AILA’s Edith Lowenstein Award for excellence in advancing the practice of immigration law.
