Steven C. Laird, Life Fellow, was announced as the 2024 recipient of the Lola Wright Foundation Award. The Texas Bar Foundation presents the award annually and it recognizes outstanding public service in advancing and enhancing legal ethics in Texas.
Mr. Laird was appointed to the Texas Supreme Court’s Professional Ethics Committee and its Task Force Committee on Advertising and Referral Fees in the past. He was also honored by the Tarrant County Bar Association with their Blackstone award in 2021, which honors an attorney whose career embodies ethical ideals, courage, and service to the legal profession.
He is currently one of the named partners at the Law Offices of Laird & McCloskey. He has been honored with the annual Professionalism Award from the College of the State Bar of Texas and as Trial Lawyer of the Year by the Tarrant County Trial Lawyers Association.
