Steven Sholk, Life Fellow, Has Two Articles Published

Steven Sholk, Life Fellow, had two articles published recently. One was in the Spring eReport of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section and is titled Dealing With Stock Price Volatility in Equity Compensation Plans. The other article A Guide to Election Year Activities of Section 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) Organizations was published as art of the course materials for the New Jersey State Bar Association seminar, Pay-to-Play in 2024 – The Latest in Campaign Finance.

In the article published by the ABA he identifies and outlines the issue with stock volatility in equity compensation plans and offers various approaches to address such problems and in the NJ State Bar article focuses on the election year activities of Section 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations.

Sholk is currently a Director in the Corporate group at Gibbons, in their Newark, NJ office. His practice is concentrated in the areas of employee benefits, executive compensation, employment and severance agreements, campaign finance, and tax-exempt organizations. In addition to being a Fellow of the ABF, he’s also a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
