Colonel Linda Strite Murnane, Patron Fellow, Named Recipient of Burnham “Hod” Greeley Award

Hon. Linda Strite Murnane, Patron Fellow, was named as the 2025 recipient of the Burnham “Hod” Greeley Award, which is presented by the Judicial Division Lawyers Conference. The award will be presented to her at the Judicial Division Welcome Reception at the ABA Annual Meeting on August 7, 2025.

Linda Strite Murnane

The Greeley Award honors the late Hawaii attorney Burnham “Hod” Greeley, a dedicated leader within the ABA who was committed to promoting public trust and confidence in our justice system. The Award was established to recognize individuals and organizations dedicated to promoting increased public awareness of the need for a fair and impartial judiciary.

Colonel Murnane has held numerous leadership positions within the American Bar Association, where she is a past Chair of the Judicial Division and Standing Committee on Armed Forces Law, an Executive Council member of the Section of International Law, and a representative of the National Conference of Specialized Jurisdiction Court Judges on the House of Delegates. She has previously been awarded with the ABA’s Margaret Brent Women of Achievement Award, the Ohio State Bar Association’s Nettie Cronise Lutes Award, and the United States Air Force’s Legion of Merit and Meritorious Service Medal.
