Richard M. Leslie, Florida Life Fellow, was elected as the Chair-Elect for the Senior Lawyers Division of the ABA at the 2022 Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The Senior Lawyers Division was started in 1986 and seeks to serve as an advocate for senior lawyers and their families. The division has nearly 50,000 members and puts out two publications – a magazine, Experience, and the monthly e-newsletter Voice of Experience.
Mr. Leslie is originally from Chicago and went to University of Florida on a tennis scholarship and before starting at University of Michigan Law School, took the time to play professional tennis on the European circuit. After law school he worked briefly in Chicago, before moving back to Florida. He spent time at Shutts & Bowen as an equity partner.
