Robert S. Peck, Life Fellow, recently released Supreme Anecdotes: Tales from the Supreme Court, the book he co-authored with Anthony Champagne. Supreme Anecdotes features anecdotes about every justice to have served on the Supreme Court.

The book was featured on the Marble Palace’s blog as one of the must-read Supreme Court books of 2025. Peck is the founder and president of the Center for Constitutional Litigation, P.C., and has served as chair of the RAND Institute for Civil Justice and as a board member of the National Center for State Courts and the Civil Justice Research Initiative.
He was also named as one of the 2024 recipients of the Appellate Advocacy Award from the National Civil Justice Institute. The award seeks to recognize excellence in appellate advocacy in America and is given to attorneys who have been instrumental in securing a final appellate court decision with significant impact on the right to trial by jury, public health and safety, consumer rights, civil rights, environmental justice, access to justice in civil cases, or other issues relevant to the work of NCJI.
