Roy D. Campbell III, Life Fellow, Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award by the Mississippi Bar

Roy D. Campbell III, Life Fellow, has been named the 2024–25 recipient of the Mississippi Bar’s Lifetime Achievement Award. The Lifetime Achievement Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to the public, the legal profession, and the administration of justice throughout their careers.

Following a 50-year-long career, Campbell retired at the end of 2024; most recently, he served as a litigation partner at Bradley Arant Boult Cummings LLP for more than 20 years, representing clients in civil suits at both the trial and appellate levels. Heis a past president of both the Mississippi Bar and the Capital Area Bar Association (CABA) and was honored with the 2021 CABA Professionalism Award for his service.

He has previously served on the Mississippi Commission on Judicial Performance and the Mississippi Bar’s Professionalism Committee. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and the Mississippi Bar Foundation.
