Two ABF Fellows Honored as Court Watch NOLA’s 2022 Lynne & Jerome Goldman Criminal Justice Reform Award Recipients

Frank X. Neuner, Secretary of the Fellows and Louisiana Patron Fellow, and Kim M. Boyle, Louisiana Life Fellow, were honored as two of Court Watch NOLA’s 2022 recipients of the Lynne & Jermone Goldman Criminal Justice Reform Award. The award reception took place on October 13th in New Orleans, LA.

Court Watch NOLA was founded in 2007 by the Business Council of New Orleans and the River Region, Common Good, and Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans as a grassroots effort to bring transparency and efficiency to New Orleans criminal courts. In 14 years, the organization has trained over 1,000 volunteers to monitor prosecutors, police, judges, public defenders, the sheriff, private defense attorneys, and the clerk of court.

Mr. Neuner is a founder and the managing partner of NeunerPate, a local corporate defense firm.  He also served as chairman of the board of Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, president of United Way of Acadiana, the Lafayette Bar Association, and the Lafayette Bar Foundation and continues to remain involved in these organizations. He is also a Fellow of the International Society of Barristers and of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. He serves as the ABA State Delegate for Louisiana and is a past Chair of the ABA Client Protection Committee.

Ms. Boyle is currently the vice-managing partner of Phelps Dunbar LLP’s New Orleans office. Her practice focsues in the areas of labor and employment, civil rights, constitutional law, commercial, tort and general litigation. She also is a current member of the board of directors and executive committee of Greater New Orleans, Inc, and New Orleans Business Alliance.
