Featured Keynote: “Gender, Race, and Class in the Making of Lawyer Careers: Findings from the After the JD Study of Lawyer Careers” with Robert L. Nelson (ABF MacCrate Research Chair in the Legal Profession; Professor of Sociology, Northwestern University)

The After the JD Study has collected three waves of data on a large national sample of lawyers who passed the bar in 2000.  Working from a social capital perspective, the project finds continuing of patterns of gender, race, and class inequality in the careers of American lawyers.
