August 20, 2018, Fellows in the news

Bridget G. Hoy, Missouri Life Fellow and attorney at Lewis Rice, LLC, recently received the Richard S. Arnold award for the Eastern District of Missouri at the 8th Circuit Judicial Conference in Des Moines, Iowa on August 16, 2018.  The award was presented by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit Bar Association to one attorney from each District. Recipients are chosen by their District’s judges for professional excellence in their fields, leadership in the legal community, significant volunteer legal work to undeserved members of the community, and mentor-ship for less-experienced lawyers or students interested in law.

Bridget is a Partner in the Litigation Department at Lewis Rice, LLC. Bridget navigates her clients through contract, consumer fraud, personal injury, trademark, patent, and other legal issues, regularly including favorable outcomes after trial of multi-million dollar matters. She litigates cases in both federal and state courts in Missouri, Illinois, and across the country, and she also represents clients in administrative and arbitration proceedings. Bridget provides pro-bono representation to indigent clients as part of a federal court mediation program, and she tutors in the St. Louis Public Schools.
