2010-12 Doctoral Fellow Kimberly Welch Receives NSF Award

Former ABF Doctoral Fellow Kimberly Welch, now Assistant Professor of History at West Virginia University, received a $150,000 award over two years from the National Science Foundation. The award is for her project that investigates free black and slave litigants in civil actions in antebellum Mississippi and Louisiana.
