The Fellows CLE Seminar: Perspectives on Race, Communities and Policing in 21st Century America

Spring 2015

Researching Law, Vol. 26, No. 4

In the aftermath of violence in communities such as Ferguson, Baltimore, and Cleveland, the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation’s CLE seminar at the ABA Annual Meeting examined the roots of problems in relations between police and minority communities and considered proposals for change. Panelists included Affiliated Research Professor Tracey Mears, Brittany Packnett, and Sean Snoot, who all served on former President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing in 2015. This edition of Researching Law presents highlights from this CLE.
