Hardin Named 2007 Distinguished Attorney by Louisiana Bar Foundation
New Orleans, LA, April 21, 2008—The law firm of Jones, Walker, Waechter, Poitevent, Carrère & Denègre, L.L.P. is pleased to announce that partner Harry S. Hardin, III was recently selected by the Louisiana Bar Foundation as a recipient of the 2007 Louisiana Distinguished Attorney award.
Mr. Hardin, along with Distinguished Attorney Thomas L. Lorenzi, Distinguished Jurist Hon. Thomas F. Daley, and Distinguished Professor Cynthia A. Samuel, was feted by the Louisiana Bar Foundation at the 22nd Annual Fellows Gala held at the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans on Friday, April 18, 2008. Recipients were celebrated Thursday night with the Patron’s Party at the Ritz, then at a special luncheon on Friday for all current and former honorees, then at the Gala on Friday night.
The Louisiana Bar Foundation Distinguished Jurist, Attorney, and Professor Awards have been presented annually since 1986. Recognition is given to those individuals who, by reason of their professional activities, have distinguished themselves and have brought credit and honor to the legal profession.
