Massachusetts Fellow Richard L. ("Dick") Neumeier

Massachusetts Fellow Richard L. ("Dick") Neumeier is stepping down, after 22 years, as the Editor of the Defense Counsel Journal, a quarterly publication of the International Association of Defense Counsel. The Journal is the oldest, continuously published insurance law journal in North America, and its articles have been cited by appellate courts on hundres of cases. Neumeier served longer than any of his eight predecessors since the Jounral commenced publication in 1934. He is a partner at the Boston office of Morrison Mahoney LLP and concentrated in appellate litigation and professional liability work. He will be succeeded this year by California Fellow Mary-Christine ("M.C.") Sungaila, who also concentrates in appellate litigation.
