March 26, 2018, Fellows in the news

For the past two years, Hon. Michelle M. Rick, MI Fellow, has collaborated with the State Bar of Michigan to develop a program called the Face of Justice.  FOJ is based on the Color of Justice program created by the National Association of Women Judges.  She is the NAWJ Director of District 7, which includes the states of Michigan, Ohio, and West Virginia.

The Face of Justice program was developed to engage high school youth and encourage them to contemplate a career in the legal profession.  The last 2 years FOJ was held at the Hall of Justice in Lansing MI.  FOJ received international recognition at the ABA’s 2018 Mid-Year meeting in Vancouver for diversity and inclusion.
