In memory of M. Peter Moser, ABF President, 2002-2004

On October 17, 2008 - M. Peter Moser of Baltimore, Maryland passed away from cancer. He was an outstanding lawyer and a leader in the field of legal ethics.
In 2005, Peter and his wife, Liz, created the ABF Liz and Peter Moser Research Fund in Legal Ethics, Professional Responsibility and Access to Legal Services. The Fund is dedicated to supporting path-breaking, empirical research central to the highest principles of the legal profession. Peter’s contributions to the profession will be remembered for years to come. And through his generosity, the Foundation will proudly continue studying those areas to which Peter donated so much of his time and talent.
The Moser Research Fund was inaugurated at the ABF Fellows Research Seminar in February 2005.
