Erika George, Professor of Law and Co-Director Center for Global Justice at the University of Utah College of Law, has received a human rights award from Salt Lake City’s Human Rights Commission and the Mayor’s Office of Diversity and Human Rights. The event commemorates the 66th anniversary of the United Nations’ ratification of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
Professor George is a 1992 alumna of the ABF's Montgomery Summer Research Diversity Fellowship Program, and a great example of the career success that our SRDF Fellows have acheived in the 28 years of the fellowship. Professor George has returned to the ABF each summer for the past several years as a Visiting Scholar. She mentored SRDF Fellow Kimberly Quick in 2013.
