ABF Partners with Cambridge University Press to Publish Law & Social Inquiry

CHICAGO, June 8, 2018 — The American Bar Foundation (ABF) is delighted to announce that it has partnered with Cambridge University Press (CUP) to publish its internationally-renowned, peer-reviewed scholarly journal, Law & Social Inquiry, beginning in January 2019.

Cambridge University Press is the publishing division of the University of Cambridge, the world's oldest publishing house and the second largest university press in the world. The press publishes high-quality academic books, textbooks, journals and reference works, English-language teaching publications, research monographs, curriculum-based books and software for schools, and bibles. Cambridge University Press is a global publisher with over 50 offices around the world and publishes over 50,000 titles across thousands of educational subjects.

Law & Social Inquiry is a quarterly, peer-reviewed journal published since 1976 and considered to be one of the top interdisciplinary law journals in the world. The journal's contributors are prominent scholars that include legal academics and social scientists from around the world who examine the most pressing sociolegal issues across various disciplines, including anthropology, criminology, economics, history, law, philosophy, political science, sociology and social psychology. Law & Social Inquiry publishes diverse content, from review essays and symposiums to original research, and has earned an impact factor of 0.952 by the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) in 2016, ranking it highly among scholarly journals in the field of law.
