Sustaining Life Fellow Frank Wu to Keynote the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation Breakfast at 2013 ABA Annual Meeting in San Francisco
Wu will discuss challenges facing new lawyers today
CHICAGO, August 5, 2013 – Frank Wu, Sustaining Life Fellow and Chancellor and Dean of the University of California at Hastings College of Law, will be the keynote speaker at The Fellows of the American Bar Foundation Annual Business Breakfast from 7:30am – 9:30am at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. The event is one of several events being hosted by The Fellows during the 2013 American Bar Association Annual Meeting. Professor Wu will speak on the challenges facing new lawyers and legal education today.
Frank Wu is the author of Yellow: Race in America Beyond Black and White and co-author of Race, Rights and Reparation: Law and the Japanese American Internment, which received a major grant from the Civil Liberties Public Education Fund. Chancellor Wu was formerly a member of the faculty at Howard University and also served as Dean of Wayne State University Law School in his hometown of Detroit. He is currently writing a book on the Vincent Chin case.
