Bonnie R. Hough, California Life Fellow, Honored with California Lawyers Association Lifetime Achievement Award

Bonnie R. Hough, California Life Fellow and principal managing attorney at the Judicial Council's Center for Families, Children and the Courts, was honored with the California Lawyers Association Lifetime Achievement Award on October 11, 2019. The award honors the most distinguished long-term achievements and sustained substantial contributions to the substance or practice of family law in California.

Ms. Hough's work focuses on helping courts meet the needs of those who cannot afford counsel in civil cases. She was a founder of the Family Law Center in Marin County and served as its executive director and lead attorney for six years. She has received various awards for her work increasing access to the courts for low-income persons.
