William J. Mueller, Nebraska Patron Fellow, Begins Term as 2021-2022 NSBA President

After more than 35 years of service with the Nebraska State Bar Association, ABF Patron Fellow William Mueller has started his term as president of the organization. A mainstay in the Nebraska legal community, Mr. Mueller has worked with the NSBA’s Executive Counsel, Legislative Counsel, and Young Lawyer’s Section. The University of Nebraska College of Law graduate has also served as a board member for the Lincoln Bar Association and Nebraska State Bar Foundation.

Mr. Mueller, who specializes in lobbying and governmental relations, co-founded Mueller Robak LLC with his wife, Nebraska Patron Fellow Kim Robak. Their firm has played an active role in Nebraska politics for upwards of three decades, becoming well-known at the local and national levels. Mr. Mueller’s commitment to his state extends beyond legal service, however. He has experience on the boards of the Lincoln Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and the United Way in Lancaster and Lincoln counties. He served as Chair of the Lancaster County Chapter of the American Red Cross and has been President of the Lincoln Updowntowners, which focuses on culturally and economically enriching the Nebraska capital. Mr. Mueller’s career has been recognized by a wide range of professional publications, including America’s Top 100 Attorneys, where he has been selected as a Lifetime Member.
